Dr. DeFelice is a graduate of Kansas State University in 1991.  He completed his doctorate of dental surgery at The University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1995.  He then went on to complete his General Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Boston University Medical Center in 2000.  Dr. DeFelice has been practicing in the Phoenix area for the past 10 years.  He is currently on staff at Scottsdale Healthcare and participates in the Level I Maxillofacial Trauma call service.

Dr. DeFelice resides in Scottsdale with his wife of 15 years and two beautiful children.  In his downtime he enjoys cycling, running, traveling and anything athletic.  When not working, he volunteers his time outside the country to provide oral care and surgery to the people of Mexico through International Medical Assistance (www.ima-missions.org)

Dr. DeFelice is also very involved, locally, with the Lost Boys of Sudan.

Dr. DeFelice practices full-scope Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery but has a particular interest in jaw reconstruction, dental implants and facial rejuvenation.

MEET OUR STAFF

Take a few minutes to meet our staff. These are the familiar, friendly faces you will see at
many of your dental appointments. The staff is very knowledgable and would be happy to
amswer any questions you might have.

	Nicole is happily married with two beautiful children, Connor and Cassidy. She enjoys photography, bicycling, going to the movies and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite movies are Tommy Boy, Time Traveler’s Wife and Goodfellas. She has a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Grand Canyon University, an Associate of Arts degree from Paradise Valley Community College and has over 15 years experience in dental, medical, and pharmaceutical environments. Nicole has worked for Dr. DeFelice for 5 years and strives to make every patient's visit informative, pleasant, and overall, an excellent experience. Among her qualifications, she is also CPR, BLS and dental anesthesia assistant certified.
Nicole Schilling
	Courtney is a native to the state of Arizona and has been with the practice for over four years. She has gained knowledge in both oral surgery assisting and front office management. Currently she is a certified Oral Surgery Assistant as well as an Anesthesia Assistant and continues to expand her knowledge in the profession with continuing education. In her leisure she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her daughter.
Courtney Proctor
	Is a native of Omaha, Nebraska and earned her associate degree in graphic design before moving to California.  There she attended a volunteer dental program thru the Red Cross.  In 2005, she relocated to Arizona and has since specialized in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.  She has been employed with Dr. Johnson and Dr. Defelice for 4 years.  She is a certified oral surgery assistant thru Cal OMS as well as an anesthesia certified assistant thru AAOMS.  She has a wonderful husband and 2 amazing young children in which she enjoys all of her free time with.
Sara Mitchell
	Is a native to the state of Arizona and has been with the practice for over a year.  Before working in oral surgery, Ashley worked in general dentistry and banking.  She is BLS, CPR and x-ray certified.  She attended college courses at Paradise Valley Community College and at the University of Phoenix.  Ashley enjoys baking, listening to music and hiking in her spare time.
